Higher minimum wages are good for us

The Massachusetts Budget and Policy Center recently published this paper on the effects of higher minimum wages on job retention and growth.

Bottom line: contrary to what some would have you believe, and even though the minimum wage, after inflation, is actually 20 percent lower than it was nearly half a century ago, higher wages are good for keeping jobs, creating jobs, and strengthening the economy.
