Presidents Don’t Really Talk about Poverty Much Anymore
Because, simply, as Jeff Shesol points out on the New Yorker blog, it doesn’t poll well. Never mind that one in three Americans slipped at least temporarily into poverty during the recession. Craven cowards, the lot.
