There’s been a lot coming out – both research and news stories – in the last several months about rising poverty in America, particularly in the suburbs.

Michelle Hirsch adds to the growing number of detailed news pieces about an especially troubling and difficult challenge to policy makers, at least, those who give a rat’s backside about the declining middle class and the increasing number of Americans falling off the economic ladder.
