Water lilies

Likely Claude Monet’s most famous work, “Water lilies” refers to 250 pieces Monet painted of his garden in Giverny during the last 30 of his 86 years.

If you haven’t had an opportunity to view any of these, they are dispersed into many museums across the world, including the National Gallery in D.C. It’s worth blocking out some restful, contemplative time to look at these paintings and let them refresh your soul. Part of the series is currently on tour, beginning this weekend in my home town of St. Louis – Water lilies on tour
