Cards take 3 from the Phils

Okay, we still aren’t in the post-season, but with 9 games remaining, we’re 2 1/2 games behind Atlanta for the wild card and, if the Cubs hold on against the Brewers, 5 games out of the division lead. We have the Mets, the Cubs, and the Astros ahead. Atlanta has the Marlins, the Nationals, and (crucially), the Phillies. The Brewers have the Cubs, the Marlins, and the Pirates.

We took 3 out of 4 from the Phils this weekend, and we’re 10 out of our last 12. This evening, Lance Berkman got the offense started with a home run, and Kyle Lohse out-duelled Roy Halladay.

I may be cruelly disappointed again in the next two weeks, but right now, Life is Good.
