Phony, but effective

We may be watching another counter-revolutionary wave, similar to 1980 and 1994, in the making. But, contrary to the conventional media meme, this wasn’t the result of a spontaneous, grass-roots outpouring of rage. Nope, surprise, surprise, it had a lot more to do – remember, Dick Armey was in front of the cameras all the time in August, 2009, when the Tea Baggers were disrupting Congressional town halls – with a huge pile of corporate money, unleashed by the conservative Supreme Court in the Citizens United case, and some adept pulling of puppet strings. That money was the gasoline thrown on simmering racism, and, poof! it’s a “revolution.”

It\'s the money, stupid
