You may have heard of Japan’s “Lost Decade” of the 1990s, when the economy went flat? Well, we – meaning ordinary Americans and their families, not the folks who were the beneficiaries of the Bush tax cuts and other policies – replicated that in the 2000s.
Washington Post this weekend runs an incredible story that concludes that, nationally, there was zero net job growth in the first decade of the 21st century:
And, just for the sake of crass politics, the Dems and Progressives would be wise not to let Americans forget that.
